Continuity in rail freight traffic despite Covid-19 with CargoBeamer!

CargoBeamer intermodal operations GmbH can continue its business operations without any restrictions despite the considerable current restrictions for companies and public life. Therefore our intermodal transports of unaccompanied semi-trailers on the route Kaldenkirchen - Domodossola and v.v. continue to operate.
Even in times of Corona we see our important contribution to maintaining the supply chains for supplying the population with food, medical products and consumer goods. Our entire team continues to do its utmost for our customers to ensure the planned transports with CargoBeamer.

Special measures taken by the terminals to protect against the spread of the Covid-19 virus include, in particular, avoiding personal contact, observing distance rules when checking in/out drivers and wearing protective masks when outside the loading trucks.
The CargoBeamer Group is committed to strengthening the communities in which we live and work. Therefore we believe in the absolute necessity to slow down the spread of the coronavirus with our personal behavior and to strictly follow the recommendations of the health authorities, the WHO and the local authorities.

We will be happy to continue to meet with our customers and business partners in person!

At the moment, however, your safety and the safety of our employees is our main concern. For this reason, the CargoBeamer Group will not be organising or participating in any events at present in order to minimize the risk of potential coronavirus infection. Business trips with personal contact are largely suspended and meetings are held in the form of video conferences.
These guidelines will initially be valid until the end of April 2020.

Nevertheless, we are still optimistic that we will be able to be represented in Berlin from 22 to 25 September at InnoTrans - the leading international trade fair for rail technology. We are also examining the possibility of using virtual options, which can be an attractive and informative communication platform for our customers and business partners.

This exceptional situation can also be seen as an opportunity for changes in European freight transport and the potential for innovative projects is therefore great. Board the train of combined transport – and get in contact with us!
