As our Sales Manager (m/f/d) Italy, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success in the Italian market. Through your exceptional leadership and sales expertise, you will not only lead the acquisition of new customers but also nurture existing client relationships and oversee strategic sales initiatives:

  • Assume central responsibility for developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to the Italian market, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and engage potential clients across diverse industries to optimize train capacity utilization and maximize business opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships with dedication and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop tailored solution concepts to meet client needs, craft competitive proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee project coordination across departments.
  • Provide leadership for on-site personnel in Verona, including office management and team leadership, to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Generate monthly reports for relevant sales areas, utilize data for strategic decision-making, and channel customer insights back into the organization to guide product development efforts.
  • Represent the company globally at client meetings, partnerships, exhibitions, and events.

You should have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, specifically in the logistics or transportation sector, ideally in a managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue goals and acquiring customers in a competitive market.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and other European countries, up to 50%.
  • Regular weekly presence in the office in Verona.
