Sales Manager BENELUX (m/f/x)

Your mission that helps to make the logistics industry more sustainable

As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you play a crucial role in strengthening our sales team, particularly in key markets such as Belgium, the Netherlands, and selected areas in France. Your mission? To successfully get every semi-trailer onto the rail and thus make a significant contribution to the sustainable future of logistics.
Here's what you do:

  • Acquisition of new customers and development of new business with international clients in Benelux and France in line with annual and quarterly targets
  • Identification and acquisition of potential new customers from various industries to maximize the capacity utilization of our trains
  • Continuous expansion and support of existing customers
  • Development of suitable solution concepts according to customer needs and creation of competitive offers including price calculation and conducting price negotiations
  • Contract conclusion in close coordination with the management
  • Cross-functional coordination of projects and tenders
  • Preparation of monthly reports for the relevant sales areas
  • Transferring customer requirements into the company and driving force for product developments and adjustments
  • International representation of the company 

You should have

  • Completed degree in economics with a focus on logistics and/or sales, or completed vocational training with relevant work experience in sales, preferably in transport & logistics
  • Excellent communication skills, both precise and persuasive
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills and the ability to conduct conversations effectively
  • Strong customer orientation, open and communicative personality, as well as a good network in the public sector
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to intermodal transport concepts
  • Very good French or Dutch language skills as well as English proficiency; basic knowledge of German is advantageous
  • Willingness to undertake regular business trips in the Benelux area, up to 50%
