Product Manager Intermodal Door‑to‑Door Solutions (m/w/d)
Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics
At CargoBeamer, we’re on a mission to make freight transport cleaner, smarter, and more efficient – by shifting traffic from road to rail through innovative intermodal solutions. Now, we’re going one step further: building a seamless Door-to-Door (D2D) transport platform that combines the power of our unique rail technology with first- and last-mile trucking.
As Product Manager D2D, you’ll drive the design, MVP development, and go-to-market strategy for this key strategic initiative. You’ll collaborate with freight marketplaces, road partners, and internal stakeholders to shape a scalable and sustainable logistics platform that connects Europe more intelligently than ever before.
Your mission:
Develop and own the roadmap for our D2D transportation platform
Shape the service offering: pricing, partner models, and user experience
Build the MVP by integrating with load boards and trucking networks (e.g., Transporeon, TIMOCOM)
Collaborate with rail and road teams to align operations and data flows
Validate customer needs through interviews, feedback loops, and data insights
Own KPI tracking, iterative improvement, and platform growth
Your Background & Skills
Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
4+ years of experience in product management, logistics, transportation tech, or platform businesses
Proven track record in MVP development, marketplace integration, or freight operations
Strong analytical and strategic thinking, including pricing models and customer journey design
Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and tech teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; German or another EU language is a plus
Proficient with tools such as Jira, Miro, Figma, Excel/BI, and load board platforms like Transporeon or TIMOCOM
