(junior) Sales Representative (m/f/d)

Your mission that helps to make the logistics industry more sustainable

As Sales Representative (m/f/d) you will support our sales team, with a focus on Western Europe. In this way, you will ensure that every semi-trailer in Germany finds its way onto the rails. 

You do this by:

• Acquiring new customers and developing new business with European customers according to annual and quarterly targets
• Identification and acquisition of potential new customers from various industries for the capacity utilization of our trains
• Continuous expansion and support of existing customers 
• Development of suitable solution concepts according to customer needs and preparation of competitive offers including price calculation and conducting price negotiations
• Conclusion of contracts in close coordination with management
• Cross-departmental coordination of projects and tenders
• Preparation of monthly reports for the responsible sales departments
• Transfer of customer requirements into the company and initiator for product developments and adjustments
• International representation of the company to the outside

You should have

• Completed business studies with a focus on logistics and/or sales or completed training with corresponding professional experience in sales and ideally in rail freight transport
• Strong, precise and assertive communication skills
• Negotiation skills as well as a convincing manner of conducting discussions
• Strong customer orientation, an open and outgoing manner as well as good public networking skills
• Passion/enthusiasm for railroad operations topics
• Very good written and spoken knowledge of English (C1), other languages are a plus
