Intermodal Dispatcher (m/f/d)

Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics

You make sure our door-to-door transports run smoothly—even when things change last minute. You balance demand and capacity, secure additional spot capacity when needed, and keep customers proactively informed. Your goal: fewer empty miles and reliable daily operations.

Your tasks:

Check daily demand vs. available capacity (by direction/corridor).
Coordinate closely with truck dispatch so plans work end-to-end.
If capacity is missing, source spot transports via TIMOCOM and Transporeon.
If we can’t serve a load directly, find a suitable partner and support onboarding.
Track spot rates and react to market changes.
Book appointments/time slots together with the Truck Dispatcher.
Monitor shipments in real time and step in when issues occur.
Keep customers proactively updated and communicate clearly during incidents.
Provide KPI updates and follow up on open items.
Prepare invoices for accounting and support invoice clarifications/disputes.

Your Background & Skills

Must-have

Experience in logistics, dispatch/transport operations, or operational customer service.
You stay organized under pressure and make practical decisions.
Clear communication skills.
German: good | English: very good

Nice to have

Experience with TIMOCOM / Transporeon (or similar tools).
Basic commercial understanding (documents, invoices, disputes).
Additional European languages.
